This 7 Days Murchison Kidepo Safari takes you deep into northern Uganda, combining two of the country's most distinctive wildlife destinations with a rhino encounter at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Starting from Entebbe, you will travel through Uganda's countryside toward Murchison Falls National Park before continuing north to the remote wilderness of Kidepo Valley National Park.
Your journey begins with rhino trekking at Ziwa before entering Murchison Falls, where game drives and a Nile boat cruise provide opportunities to encounter elephants, buffaloes, lions, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles and numerous bird species. From there, travel through Kitgum to Kidepo for further game drives, a visit toward the hot springs and a guided nature walk. The safari concludes with a long return journey to Kampala, followed by a city tour or short wildlife visit before your flight from Entebbe back to Entebbe International Airport.
Routing note: The supplied itinerary operates through Entebbe/Kampala and concludes with an airport transfer.

After your arrival in Uganda and meet your Danke Rwenzori Tours driver-guide and begin the journey northwest toward Murchison Falls National Park. Travel through the famous Luwero Triangle before reaching Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you will take part in a guided rhino trekking experience. The sanctuary provides an opportunity to observe southern white rhinoceroses in a protected natural environment.

Your driver-guide will navigate the park's wildlife areas while explaining the animals and surrounding ecosystem.
After approximately three hours on safari, return to your accommodation for lunch and an opportunity to rest. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Nile toward the bottom of Murchison Falls or toward the delta, depending on your selected experience. Watch for Nile crocodiles, hippos and numerous waterbirds along the river before returning to your lodge.

After exiting the park, continue north toward Kitgum with lunch arranged en route or carried as a packed meal. Carry a packed lunch for the day's activity and, after lunch, join a guided nature walk with a Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger where conditions and park regulations permit.
